Laboratory of Archaeographical Studies
The Laboratory of Archaeographical Studies (LAI) was founded in 1975. The almost 40 years of academic activity by LAI and its scholars form the Urals School of Archaeography and Source Studies, the founder of which was R. G. Pikhoia. Currently, the Laboratory continues to develop the tradition of bibliographic archaeography and to perfect methods of documentary analysis.
